Management of Accidentally Injected Ivermectin Overdose Inflicted Toxicity in German Shepherd Dog

An owner complaint about adverse reaction half an hour after accidental injection of ivermectin to a dog. The dog showed hyperthermia, bradycardia, dyspnoea, hypersalivation and frothy discharge, dilated pupil and ataxia. The dog was symptomatically treated with normal saline, dexamethasone, tribivet-M and atropine sulphate. Adverse symptoms were abolished after two hours. Instant reporting by the owner and prompt treatment in the present study helps to avoid further deterioration in the dog's condition and made possible fast recovery.

Aims: Describe the desertion and love of characters in the novel Gizzara (I am Waiting for You at the Boundary of Kuldenzen) by Fanny J. Poyk: a critical hermeneutic study of Jurgen Habermas.

Study Design: Multidisciplinary

Place and Duration of Study: Graduate Program of Indonesian Bahasa and Literature Education University of Lampung, August 2019 until now

Methodology: Qualitative research is some scientific activity procedures that can be used to solve problems according to different perspectives and approaches. The process of parsing and understanding the meaning of literary works is the focus of hermeneutics. Data collection techniques in this study used reading, note-taking, and literature techniques. Content analysis is used to explore the ideas expressed by writers (authors) in the form of statements, questions, and character dialogues. This technique is to understand the message of literary works.

Result: Based on the discussion, Fanny has made her work as an integral part of the problems that are happening today even though it is packaged in a past dimension with dozens of characters. Desertion may occur due to the opposing group which gives a feeling of peace, comfort, and even affection and love for him. Desertion is used to escape from psychological pressure. It is different from the material pressure, Psychology requires comfort in order to live a happier and more normal life. Although, other pressures (work, family, economic, or finance) affects a person's psychology and its culmination becomes psychological pressure too. Gizzara (I am Waiting for You at the Boundary of Kuldenzen) appeared as a literary work which is not just a representation of social or cultural, but also the alienation of the people that was shown in the past. Textually and contextually, this novel displays an awareness of human unhappiness for dealing with a world as not we desire.

Study on Wear form of Split Cone of Vertical Shaft Impact Crusher

The three-dimensional model rotor of vertical shaft impact crusher was established by using the three-dimensional software Solidworks and it was imported into the discrete element software EDEM for dynamic simulation. The force of the split cone, the motion trajectory and force of the particles were analyzed in rotor by using the post-processing function of EDEM. The results show that the split cone was mainly affected by the normal action of particles. According to the definition of impact wear, it was finally determined that the wear form of the split cone is impact wear.

A Comparative Analysis of SIMC-PID with Other Conventional Techniques for Automobile Vehicle Air Conditioning System Control

Decreasing the thermal increase inside vehicles and safeguarding suitable vehicular temperature levels may result in improved vehicle fuel economy, reliability and passenger comfort. However, getting suitable techniques to attain this has been a great challenge to the system engineers. Although, the use of conventional techniques have proffered a great insight in solving the problem of temperature control in air conditioning system,  however, they suffered from inefficient and non-lasting solution to the heat generated within the cabin walls. Thus, in this present paper, a Simple Internal Model Control based Proportional Integral Derivative (SIMC-PID) controller for automobile vehicle temperature is proposed. The SIMC method is based on the internal model control (IMC) theory and proposes a simple methodology for the tuning of the PI and PID industrial controllers. The suggested approach is compared with the conventional tuning methods such as Zeigler-Nichols, Cohen-Coon and Chien-Hrones-Reswick based on energy conservation and mass balance principles. Results obtained showed that the proposed SIMC-PID method could be of great significance in controlling the air-conditioning system temperature compared with the conventional tuning techniques.

Cubic Transformation of Exponential Weibull and its Statistical Properties

In this paper, a cubic transformation exponential Weibull distribution is proposed by using the family of cubic transformation distributions introduced by Rahman et al.The reasoning process of the proposed cubic transformation exponential Weibull distribution is discussed in detail, and its statistical properties and parameter estimation are also discussed.Using real data, the maximum likelihood estimation is used to simulate. Through the comparison of fitting results, it is concluded that the cubic transformation exponential Weibull distribution proposed in this paper has stronger applicability.

Review of Literature on Methodological Approaches of Assessing the Adoption of Enterprise Risk Management Practices

This study intends to examine the previous researches on Enterprise Risk Management (ERM). On examining the previous researches, it is evident that both primary data based (using robust models) and secondary data based (using Dummy variables) approaches adopted by the previous researchers and those are taken into account and have been reviewed in this paper. In here, researchers have identified that most of the recent studies have used robust models in assessing the adoption of ERM practices, while earlier researchers used dummy variables in assessing ERM practices. Here, in some cases, there are some contradictories of results of the studies in two approaches. Based on the recommendations, conclusions of prior research, and the analysis of the available literature, it has been recommended to use robust models like COSO ERM framework, ISO 31000 etc. in case of assessing the adoption of ERM practices in future studies.
