Dr. Md. Harun-Ur-Rashid
I am Md. Harun-Ur-Rashid, a Bangladeshi citizen. I obtained the sixteenth position in my BS program (Agriculture) out of 206 students and got the highest CGPA (4.0 out of 4.0) in MS program (Genetics and Plant Breeding) from Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University. Now I am working on in the field of molecular biology, plant breeding, and plant genetics. My research is emphasized on Plant improvement program in relation with modern plant breeding as well as molecular biology tools. I have cloned cysteine synthase gene from L. leucocephala which already submitted in the DDBJ (Accession No. LC306827). I have attended several National and International conferences. Presently I am holding the Post of Assistant Professor, Department of Genetics and Plant Breeding, Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
